Who we are
AJJA Technologies is a group of scientists, technologists, and engineers developing technology for cleaner production and processing with a focus on water, aqueous processes, electrochemistry, and sustainable chemical process innovation. The company was founded by Adam Blunn in 2017 after 25 years of chemical technology development and production in other organisations. Our team consists of laboratory and production technologists and engineers to take our innovations from concept to pilot and scale up. We believe that improved environmental performance will be most successful where there is parallel economic benefit and we focus on achieving both simultaneously. As a growing startup, we ensure we contribute to our local community and engage with schools, higher education, and support the wider community where we can help.
What we do
AJJA Technologies has a factory and pilot facility and flexible capability laboratories to enable practical and effective technology development in the spaces that we work in. Our facilities include dedicated analytical laboratories with capacity in analytical electrochemistry, spectrophotometry, classical analysis, as well as new method development for niche requirements. Core technology development includes a novel ion selective electrode platform. This incorporates novel sensing as well as delivery platform that offers major advantages over existing field and industrial monitoring systems. Our Patents
Patent 1 Improved Lithium recovery from Brines
We have developed and assigned two patents to our partners for application in lithium processing.
Patent 2 Distributed sensing using Ion Selective Field Effect Transistors
We have two patents under development for our novel sensor technology.
Under development
We have a further two patents under development for a disruptive filtration technology. This technology is a new and powerful desalination technique for application where no practical solutions exist. We also enable recycling and resource recovery from the most difficult water contamination.
